Description
Job Summary:
The Mammographer position is located in Oakland, California. It involves performing diagnostic mammograms across multiple locations, including mobile units, during day shifts. The role requires float capability between different sites, with shifts generally scheduled from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and rotating weekends. This position is ideal for a Health Care Professional with experience in digital mammography and a California State Mammography Licensure.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 8 hours, minimum of 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday, with rotating weekend shifts including Saturday mornings.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), BLS (Basic Life Support), California State Mammography Licensure (required), certification by the California Department of Health Services as a Certified Radiologic Technologist, Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology, with at least 2 years of experience in diagnostic and digital mammography, Hologic 3D capabilities, and hospital-based experience preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, Hologic 3D systems, inpatient and outpatient settings, and universal precautions/core measures.
- Additional Information: Candidate must demonstrate proficiency with charting systems such as Epic and have the ability to work across multiple locations including mobile units and breast centers. Flexibility to float between sites is required, and candidates should be capable of handling screening and diagnostic mammograms.
