Description
Job Summary:
The Baltimore, Maryland-based X-Ray Technologist position involves operating standard, portable, and specialized X-Ray equipment to perform diagnostic radiographic exams used for patient care and treatment. The role requires providing compassionate patient care and obtaining high-quality images utilizing digital radiography technology, supporting the healthcare providers diagnostic processes.

Shift: Nights, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications: Maryland license; ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification via American Heart Association; experience with Adult and Pediatric X-Ray imaging; hospital and trauma experience is required; orthopedic and operating room experience is a plus; completion of an AMA (American Medical Association) approved Program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent; 0.0 years minimum experience; candidates must have previously worked in any capacity for any healthcare facility within the Johns Hopkins system (staff, PRN, or travel), with a clearance of at least 1 full year before applying as a traveler if previously employed by Johns Hopkins facilities.

Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in trauma centers and expertise in orthopedic or operating room imaging are highly regarded.
