Description

Job Summary:
Richland, Washington The Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) will provide specialized respiratory care in a level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) within a healthcare facility. The role involves working independently in a high-acuity pediatric environment, with responsibilities spanning neonatal to adult patient populations. This position requires flexibility to float between units and adherence to hospital protocols.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Washington state license in hand, at least 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist Registered, current certifications in ACLS, BLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Respiratory Therapist (RT) credentials
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Trauma Level I or II experience, extensive respiratory equipment familiarity including Bunnell Jet Ventilation, high-frequency ventilators, and electronic fetal monitoring (EFM)
  • Additional Information:
    • The role includes working in a busy NICU with a daily census of approximately 300 patients
    • Must be capable of working independently within a level 3 NICU and the ability to adapt to different units as needed
    • Flexibility to work various shifts and to float among departments is highly preferred
    • Must be flexible with holiday work commitments and request RTO during submission
    • This assignment is a 13-week contract with the possibility of extension
    • No call-in policy; candidates should not contact the facility directly unless for an interview arranged by the account manager
    • Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist Registered and be willing to work a 12-hour night schedule
