Job Summary:
The occupation is a CT Technologist position located in Omaha, Nebraska. This role involves performing quality computed tomography (CT) exams across various procedures, ensuring optimal scan times and maintaining departmental standards. The successful candidate will utilize GE equipment and demonstrate effective communication skills when interacting with patients, physicians, and healthcare personnel. The position includes a comprehensive orientation and floating within the CT department to different campus locations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certified CT Technologist by ARRT (CT) and ARRT Radiologic Technologist, Nebraska Medical Radiographer License, BLS certification, proficient with GE equipment and EPIC EMR.
• Preferred Qualifications: Level I trauma experience, GE equipment experience, and prior trauma center work.
• Additional Information: Includes a 6-week orientation at multiple locations with assigned preceptor, training on IV line procedures, and department-specific protocols. The department uses EPIC and McKesson PACS for charting and imaging. The unit operates 8 CT scanners across campuses. Floating to other locations within the department is required. The assignment begins on 08/31/2026, with a 36-hour/13-week cancellation notice policy and non-billable orientation hours of 12.
• Certifications Needed: BLS (AHA), Certified CT Technologist ARRT (CT), and Certified Radiologic Technologist ARRT (R).
• Additional notes: Candidate must be willing to wait for license processing and be prepared to work Fri/Sat/Sun including holidays as scheduled.
