Description
Job Summary
Vascular Sonographer in Beverly, Massachusetts. This position involves performing a variety of diagnostic ultrasound exams, including vascular and general ultrasound procedures, to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. The technologist must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to meet departmental staffing needs, including off-site, holiday, and on-call rotations.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: ARDMS certification in vascular and general ultrasound, Massachusetts licensure (if applicable), and a minimum of 0 years of experience.
- Schedule: Shift hours are 8 hours per day with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience performing DVT venous and carotid ultrasound studies.
- Float: Float to Addison Gilbert Hospital and Lahey Outpatient Center in Danvers, MA, may be required as needed.
- Additional Information: Must be able to perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound exams and procedures (vascular and general ultrasound) to produce images for the diagnosis and treatment of medical disorders. Work includes but is not limited to operating room, emergency room, inpatient, and outpatient populations. Must monitor and ensure patient safety and care standards. Flexibility to meet staffing needs, including holiday and on-call rotations, is essential.
