Job Summary
The Boston, Massachusetts location is seeking a General Ultrasonographer for a day shift position. The role involves performing a wide range of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, and some vascular exams. The candidate will interact with patients and medical personnel daily, assist physicians during invasive procedures, and provide preliminary interpretations while maintaining compliance with safety and infection control standards.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: ARDMS certification is REQUIRED. Must have experience in transplants, dopplers, and renal artery stenosis. Candidates should have a relevant education background or certification in ultrasound technology.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Must have the ability to perform high level disinfection of ultrasound intracavitary transducers using systems such as the Trophon EPR. The start date is ASAP, with a schedule to begin within four weeks. Candidates should be available for weekly orientation sessions, typically held on Mondays. RTO requests must be presented at the time of submission, with limited time off approval. Candidates who have worked for the organization within the last six months as permanent or per diem staff are ineligible unless separated for at least six months. Parking costs may apply.
