Description
Job Summary
General Ultrasonographer position located in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves performing a wide range of ultrasound procedures including abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, and some vascular exams. The candidate will interact daily with patients and other medical personnel, assisting with sterile invasive procedures, reviewing charts, and ensuring precise imaging for diagnostic purposes.
Job Details
- Schedule: The shift is scheduled for nights, with 10 hours per shift, and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: ARDMS certification is required, with preference given to ARDMS ABD & RVT credentials. Must have experience in transplant, Dopplers, and renal artery stenosis. Experience with ultrasound procedures such as abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, and vascular is necessary. Candidates must be able to perform high-level disinfection of ultrasound transducers using systems like the Trophon EPR. The start date is ASAP, within four weeks, with weekly orientation on Mondays (excluding holidays).
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Additional Information: The position requires sharing on-call duties with fellow sonographers after reaching a specified level of expertise. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility and have not worked for the organization as a perm or per diem within the last six months. Parking costs up to $43 per day may apply.
