Description

Job Summary
The CT/ Radiologic Technologist position is located at a busy medical center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This role involves performing adult and pediatric computed tomography (CT) scans and X-ray procedures in a high-acuity, level 1 trauma setting. The technologist will work during night shifts, contributing to a dynamic and demanding clinical environment that requires calmness under stress and technical proficiency.

Job Details

Schedule: Night shifts from 2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., Monday through Thursday; alternative shift schedule from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; cycle duration of 4 weeks.
Required Qualifications: ARRT Certification in Radiologic Technology (RT(R)), CT certification, BLS certification, at least 2 years of CT experience, and a valid drivers license.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting adult and pediatric patients, familiarity with department-specific equipment such as Siemens, GE, Cannon, and those used for mobile x-ray and mini-C-Arm procedures.
Orientation: Up to 5 days of departmental and facility orientation, pending confirmation with the designated contact.
Additional Information: The department employs electronic medical records (EMR) using EPIC. The environment is high-stakes, requiring the ability to perform in a level 1 trauma setting, handle stressful situations calmly, and perform both adult and pediatric CT and X-ray procedures. Scrub color is black, parking is free, and holiday work constitutes 75% of the time.
