Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Outpatient in Twin Falls, Idaho. This role involves providing speech therapy services in a hospital's outpatient setting, focusing on patients with diagnoses such as stroke, pneumonia, and sepsis. The position offers a comprehensive experience working across multiple departments including acute inpatient, acute rehab, and outpatient services, with a balanced schedule and collaborative team environment.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 10-hour days, M-F, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Travelers have traditionally worked Friday through Monday but schedules may vary for vacation coverage.
  • Required Qualifications: BLS Certification, CCC-SLP; Minimum 1 year of experience in acute care settings, competent in VFSS (video fluoroscopic swallow study). The candidate must hold a license to submit and be available to start on 09/14/2026.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in rehabilitation units is desirable; first-time travelers are welcome.
  • Floater: Float rotation may be required to cover ICU, acute tower, rehab unit, and possibly to a medical center approximately 30 minutes away.
  • Additional Information: The position involves working in ICU, acute tower, and rehab units with approximately 8 to 10 patients treated per day. The facility employs rehab aides and managers on each shift, with typical onboarding consisting of 2-3 days of department-specific orientation. Scrubs are permitted, with color guidelines available upon hire. The facility adheres to a 50-mile radius rule, and applicants' permanent addresses will be verified prior to submission.
