Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position available in a facility located in Jacksonville, Illinois. This role involves providing inpatient physical therapy services to adult patients within an outpatient setting, with a focus on orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation. The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, with flexibility in hours, and requires active Illinois licensure.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy, active Illinois state physical therapist license, minimum 1 year of outpatient orthopedic and neurological rehab experience, BLS certification, and US residency or work authorization.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cerner charting system and trauma level II experience.
• Flexibility: No float required unless scope of practice dictates.
• Position Responsibilities: Providing inpatient physical therapy assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans including adaptive devices, gait training, pain management, and post-operative rehab. Skills in assessing skin integrity, vital signs, and body mechanics are essential, along with proficiency in documentation of evaluations, discharge summaries, and long- and short-term goals.
• Additional Information: The candidate must arrive in Illinois at least 3 business days prior to the start date for fingerprinting, complete required modules pre-start, and work at least two major holidays. RTO restrictions include limited days off, ideally no more than 5 days, with flexibility for clinical needs.
