Description
Job Summary:
The healthcare professional specializing in computed tomography (CT) technology will support a 24-hour department, operating primarily during night shifts. This role involves working in a facility that handles a varied case volume with advanced Siemens scanners and performing procedures such as angio coronary, biopsies, abscess drains, and protocols for pre-Watchman and ablation procedures. The position requires working both inpatients and outpatients, including holiday coverage as specified.
Job Details:
- Location: Cumming, Georgia
- Schedule: Nights, 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., weekend shifts, 36 hours minimum per week
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); no specific experience required beyond a minimum of 2 years within the specialty
- Preferred Qualifications: Not specified
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: The candidate must work two major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve). No local candidates within 50 miles are being considered.
