Description
Job Summary:
The Diagnostic Radiology professional specializing as an X-ray Technologist is sought for a healthcare facility located in Cumming, Georgia. This position involves performing inpatient and outpatient fluoroscopic and radiographic exams, including procedures such as C-arm imaging, lumbar punctures, and routine X-rays. The assignment is for a 13-week duration with a schedule from Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Job Details:
- Location: Cumming, Georgia
- Schedule: M-Th, 7:30 a.m. 6:00 p.m., 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-RT), current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, minimum of 2 years of recent experience in radiology, proficiency in Cerner electronic health record, and experience with operating fluoroscopy and operating room procedures
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with inpatient and outpatient fluoroscopy exams, proficiency in C-arm procedures, lumbar punctures, routine X-rays, and working in a high-volume emergency department averaging 150 exams daily
- Additional Information: The ideal candidate must be available to work two major holidaysThanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Years Dayand one minor holiday such as the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Years Eve
