Description
Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position located in Denver, Colorado. This role involves providing all respiratory modalities across various hospital areas, including medication delivery, emergency response, intubation assistance, ventilator management (both invasive and non-invasive), arterial blood gases, pulmonary hygiene, hyperinflation therapy, and patient transport of critically ill patients with artificial airways. The position requires working a day shift with potential for all weekends and as needed holidays.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift hours from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, every other week; minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications including ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Minimum of 2 years of related experience. Valid license must be submitted.

- Additional Information: Provides all respiratory modalities in all areas of the hospital, including medication delivery, emergency response, intubation assist, ventilator management (both invasive and non-invasive), arterial blood gases, pulmonary hygiene, hyperinflation therapy, and patient transport of critically ill patients with artificial airway. The hospital maintains a hospitalist or intensivist in-house always. Equipment includes 980 ventilator and V60 ventilator.
- Other Details: The healthcare provider prefers clinicians to be in the state for the week of orientation, even if initial modules are remote. Clinicians should never be the only Respiratory Therapist in-house and must adhere to hospital dress code of black pants and wine-colored top.
