Job Details:

  • Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: No minimum years of experience specified; candidate must possess valid state licensure, with a compact license in hand at submission.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • Skills: Acid-Base Management, Anticoagulation, Autologous Blood Salvage, Cardioplegia, CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room), Flow Rates, Hypothermic Circulatory Arrest, Initiation of Cardiopulmonary Bypass (CPB), Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Left Heart Bypass, Management of Power Failure, Massive Air Embolus, Off Pump Surgery Conversion to CPB, Oxygenator Failure, Set-up/Priming of Equipment, Temperature Management, Ultrafiltration, Ventricular Assist Device (VAD), Weaning/Resumption of Natural Circulation.
  • Additional Information: The role involves working in a cardiovascular operating room setting with complex procedures including Cardiovascular Operating Room cases. Candidate must be flexible to work on-call and to participate in holiday rotations, specifically working three of five major holidays. The candidate must also adhere to the local radius rule of 50 miles from the facility.
