Job Summary
Physical Therapist (Outpatient) Sangerville, ME. This outpatient physical therapy position involves providing high-quality care for mostly adult and school-aged patients with diagnoses such as post-orthopedic and spinal surgeries, geriatrics, work injuries, and neurological imbalance. The role requires outpatient experience, manual therapy, exercise science, and patient education.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: ME State Licensure, BLS certification, Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or higher, at least 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience, and 1 year of work experience.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Providing outpatient therapy, evaluations, and treatments, with 60-minute evaluations and 45-minute treatments, including patient education on adaptive equipment.
- Support within the Department: Two PTs and one PTA, with the PTA serving as the clinic supervisor.
- Technology/Equipment: EMR system (Cerner).
- Floating: Float rotation may be required to assist at Dean Hospital in Greenville, approximately 30 minutes away, for outpatient or inpatient needs.
- Additional Information: No weekend rotations or call requirements, with holidays scheduled and documented in the department. Scrubs should be solid-colored or professional business casual, and parking is free. Orientation of 2-3 days may be required depending on skillset and comfort level.
