Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in a healthcare setting specializing in pediatric respiratory care. This role involves providing direct patient services with a focus on pulmonary function testing, support for respiratory devices, and patient education. The position requires working night shifts and supporting the healthcare providers team to ensure high-quality respiratory care for pediatric patients.

Job Details:

• Schedule: PRN Nights, 7 p.m. 7 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • RRT or CRT certification from the National Registry of Respiratory Care (NRBC)
  • New Jersey Respiratory Therapist license (RCP)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • 1 year hospital or physician office experience
  • Computer literacy

• Additional Information:
  • The respiratory therapist will provide direct patient care services with specific emphasis on pediatric pulmonary function testing and initiation of Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) devices. They will support requests for durable medical equipment such as oxygen concentrators and nebulizers, assist in inhaler training, and set up patients with DME equipment. The clinician will work closely with physicians to coordinate care and ensure efficient patient outcomes.
