Job Summary:
Electrophysiology Technician in a healthcare setting. This role involves performing diagnostic neurophysiological testing, including electroencephalogram (EEG), electromyography (EMG), nerve conduction velocities (NCV), sensory evoked potentials (EP), and polysomnographic testing. The technician may also assist with oxygen therapy and continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) treatments. The position requires collaboration with patients and clinical staff to ensure accurate testing and proper equipment setup.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications and Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent; registry eligible in one of the following fields EEG (Electroencephalogram R. EEG T., CLTM), EP (Evoked Potentials R. EP T.), Intra-Operative Monitoring (CNIM), Nerve Conduction Velocity studies (NCV), Polysomnography (RPSGT), Registered Sleep Technologist (RST), BLS (AHA or ARC).
• Responsibilities include performing neurodiagnostic testing such as EEG, EMG, NCV, EP, and polysomnography, along with equipment calibration and maintenance, patient history-taking, test scoring, and providing pre-test instructions.
• Preferred Skills & Experience: N/A
• Education: Graduation from an acceptable program of Neurophysiology is required; no prior experience needed if qualification met.
• Shift details: 12-hour rotating shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The position involves patient interactions, test execution, and equipment management in various clinical environments.
