Description

Job Summary:
Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS) position available in a healthcare facility in the area. This role involves providing respiratory care to pediatric patients across ICU, emergency department, and general pediatric care areas. The assignment involves 12-hour daytime shifts with every other weekend required, and candidates must be willing to float as needed.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour days
  • Required Qualifications: Certification as a Respiratory Therapist (RT), active Georgia license at the time of submission, must be registered, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications required. Pediatric experience of at least 2 years, including extensive critical care experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and Emergency Department (ED). No call requirements. Flu vaccination for the 2025-2026 flu season is mandatory, with no exemptions accepted. RTO (Return to Office) must be included at the time of submission.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Level I trauma experience highly preferred, ability to float between units, NICOTINE FREE FACILITY testing required along with drug screening.
  • Additional Information: The position requires flexibility to float between ICU, ED, and general pediatric care areas. The assignment start date is 09/14/2026 and ends on 12/12/2026. Candidates should be able to work every other weekend.
