Description

Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) in a healthcare setting. This role involves providing occupational therapy services to inpatients, assessing patients' needs, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient recovery and functional independence. The position is for a 13-week assignment starting as soon as available, with weekend rotation potentially required, and typical schedule hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Job Details

Schedule: 8:00 am 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Certifications in occupational therapy, Bachelor's degree or higher in occupational therapy or related field, valid state license or registration, minimum of 2.0 years of experience in occupational therapy, and location requirements as specified
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in inpatient units, experience with pediatric or geriatric populations, and strong interdisciplinary collaboration skills
Weekend Rotation: Yes
Brief Description of typical responsibilities, unit, etc.: Provide skilled occupational therapy services to inpatients, perform patient evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, document patient progress, and participate in care team discussions.
Background, years of experience, skills, etc.: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in inpatient occupational therapy, proficiency in standard assessments and treatment modalities, strong communication skills
What certificates are required, if any (i.e., ACLS, BLS): BLS
Top 3 skills/attributes needed for excellent fit: Clinical expertise with critical thinking, interdisciplinary team collaboration, flexible with patient-centered care
