Job Summary
CT Technologist position located in a short-term acute care facility with a Level II trauma designation. This role involves working a 7 on/7 off schedule, primarily during night shifts, with responsibilities that include operating Siemens imaging equipment and performing contrast and non-contrast CT scans. The role requires adaptability to float between units and adherence to a rigorous clinical environment.
Job Details
- Schedule: 10-hour night shifts, from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid state licensure as a CT Technologist, ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT), and at least 2 years of experience in acute care or trauma settings. Candidates must have experience with Siemens imaging systems and advanced CT skills including contrast administration, abdominal, head, chest, vascular, and pediatric procedures.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Level II trauma center, familiarity with Epic charting system, and previous travel or community hospital experience.
- Additional Information: The position involves working under high-pressure conditions with a need for precise image acquisition. Candidates must be willing to work on a schedule that includes holiday coverage and be prepared to float between related units. Proper PPE and PPE protocols are required, and all necessary modules should be completed pre-start and during orientation.
