Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered specializing in Pediatrics, located at a healthcare facility. This position involves providing comprehensive respiratory care, patient evaluation, and assistance with procedures such as ventilatory support, chest physiotherapy, and patient assessments. The therapist will deliver quality patient care within the scope of their professional license, with minimal supervision, during night shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS and ACLS, valid respiratory therapist license, no minimum years of experience required, located at the healthcare facility
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in pediatric respiratory care preferred
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Provides intensive respiratory care, operates ventilatory and oxygen equipment, performs advanced procedures such as bronchoscopy assistance and tracheostomy care, and monitors patient responses. Maintains proper documentation of treatments, communicates effectively with the healthcare team, and ensures equipment functionality and safety. Performs all duties consistent with the standards of the organization and policies.
