Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Inpatient in a designated healthcare setting. The role involves planning, organizing, and supervising occupational therapy treatments in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, regulations, and guidelines. Emphasis is placed on patient and employee safety, interdisciplinary collaboration, and continuous quality improvement to deliver exceptional patient care.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid, current State license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; minimum of 2 years of professional experience; inpatient rehabilitation or neuro experience is highly desired.
• Preferred Qualifications: Inpatient rehab or neuro experience.
• Additional Information: The occupational therapist will assess patient levels of functioning, develop and implement treatment plans, participate in discharge planning, supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and students, and document treatment progress. The role requires active participation in team meetings, safety adherence, and effective communication with patients and families, ensuring safe and quality patient care.
