Genesis Healthcare System is a 260-bed Level III Trauma Center providing comprehensive care to patients with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions. Therapists work closely with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation professionals to help patients recover and return to their highest level of function.

Patient Population

Therapists may work with patients experiencing:

• Orthopedic and joint replacement recovery
• Neurological conditions
• Neurosurgical diagnoses
• Cardiovascular conditions, including CABG patients
• General surgery recovery
• Medically complex and critically ill patients
• Adult and geriatric populations

Schedule

• Day shift acute care position
• 5x8 schedule available (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• 4x10 schedule available (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Weekend coverage expected
• Facility will work with travelers to accommodate scheduling preferences when possible

Requirements

• Active Ohio OT License required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience preferred
• Experience with orthopedic and post-operative patients preferred
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
