Description
Job Summary:
CT Technologist position in a healthcare facility located in North Austin. This contract role lasts for 13 weeks, with a schedule of nights (Friday to Sunday, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM). The position involves performing computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures in a fast-paced environment requiring technical proficiency and patient care skills. The role is suitable for candidates with no prior experience but must meet specific certification and credentialing requirements.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, Fridays through Sundays, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography (CT), valid license from the Texas Medical Board (TMB), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and at least 0 years of experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Two or more years of experience in CT imaging procedures and strong patient care skills
- Additional Information: The role requires handling general imaging procedures within the unit, utilizing GE equipment, and adhering to all departmental policies. Candidates should possess a professional demeanor, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently during scheduled shifts. Dress code includes olive green scrubs tops with black pants for technologists and navy blue scrubs for registered nurses, if applicable. The department values staff with technological proficiency and a collaborative attitude.
