Job Summary:
MRI Technologist position available in a radiology department specializing in magnetic resonance imaging at a healthcare facility. The role involves performing general MRI procedures, stroke, and trauma imaging under a fast-paced environment. The assigned shift is days, specifically from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Thursday through Saturday. This assignment offers an excellent opportunity for qualified candidates to demonstrate their technical skills and adapt to a collaborative clinical setting.

Job Details:

• Location: Day shift, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Thursday through Saturday, with minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certified MRI Technologist with ARRT (MR) certification and BLS (American Heart Association); two years of MRI experience preferred; valid license to submit; minimum experience of 0 years.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with GE 3T and 1.5T, Siemens 1.5T scanners; familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record and Fuji Synapse PACS; ability to start IVs; working knowledge of general MRI, stroke, and trauma imaging.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Thursday through Saturday, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Department has 3 scanners/rooms; staff may cover outpatient MRI areas; in-house radiologist available; shift requires scrubs in black; department orientation is specific to the role; hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment. It is essential that travelers are in the state for the week of orientation.
