Description
Job Summary:
CT Technologist position located at an acute general medical unit. This role involves operating CT (Computed Tomography) imaging equipment to assist in patient diagnosis within a busy hospital setting. The position is scheduled for day shifts over a 11-week period, requiring adaptability and professional patient care skills.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT, no specific experience required, full-time availability from 08/31/2026 to 11/16/2026.
- Preferred Qualifications: Trauma experience, stroke/Emergency CT angiography experience.
- Additional Information: This is a weekend overnight position with no on-call requirements. The unit has 119 beds, and typical procedures include general CT and trauma/stroke imaging. Candidates should demonstrate great patient care skills, empathy, and a strong work ethic. The environment favors self-starters who can adapt to changing priorities. The team operates primarily with GE Optima 660 64 slice and GE Lightspeed VCT 64 slice imaging systems, using Meditech electronic medical records.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
