Job Summary:
Radiology (CT) Technologist position located in an acute care setting. This role involves covering both X-ray and computed tomography (CT) procedures, primarily during night shifts. The technologist will work independently during overnight hours, providing imaging services across various departments including emergency, floors, and portable imaging.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, nights (9 p.m. to 7 a.m. or 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.), with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Shifts include Wednesday through Friday, with every other weekend requirement.
• Required Qualifications: ARRT certification in computed tomography (CT) and radiography (R), BLS certification, minimum of 0 years of experience, valid license to submit application.
• Preferred Qualifications: Travel imaging experience, proficiency with Cerner electronic medical record system, Siemens CT equipment, and Philips PACS.
• Additional Information: The role involves operating one CT scanner, two X-ray rooms, and one portable X-ray unit. Daily caseload typically includes 510 scans/studies, with responsibilities that include starting IVs, performing imaging on various departments, and operating department-specific equipment such as Philips and Siemens digital systems. The technologist will serve as the sole imaging staff during overnight shifts, with access to daytime radiology supervisor support and in-house radiologist coverage during the day. Certification in ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) via the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, along with BLS certification, is required.
