Description
Job Summary
Mammographer specializing in breast imaging and biopsy procedures is needed for a short-term assignment within a healthcare organization. Based in a facility with a focus on acute care for adults and geriatrics, this position involves operating advanced mammography equipment and performing specialized imaging procedures. The role requires proficiency in digital mammography techniques and familiarity with Hologic equipment, with a schedule of days shifts.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shifts, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in mammography, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, Oregon licensure or equivalent, at least 1 year of mammography experience, familiarity with Hologic imaging systems.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with digital mammography, 3-D mammography, stereotactic biopsy, and familiarity with Epic charting system.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to neighboring units.
- Additional Information: The role involves performing breast biopsies, localizations, and utilizing specialty equipment such as Trident and Hologic systems, including 3D mammography and Affirm Bx. Candidate must be flexible to work over a schedule period from 09/14/2026 to 12/14/2026, including working 3 of the 5 specified holidays and adhering to workplace protocols related to radiation safety and infection control.
