Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Pediatric Dietitian - Days in a healthcare setting. This position involves assessing patients' nutritional status, developing tailored medical nutrition therapy care plans, and providing nutrition counseling and education for a diverse patient population, including pediatric and adult cases. The role is based on a regular daytime schedule, with rotations that may include outpatient programs and inpatient care.

Job Details

Position Description: Peds Dietitian - Days, Monday-Friday block, with a schedule of predominantly 8-hour days from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, including specific time blocks for outpatient clinics and inpatient assessments.
Required Qualifications: MD Dietitian licensure; Registration with the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics; minimum of a Masters degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field; completion of required coursework, Dietetic Internship, and successful passing of the CDR exam; 2 years of experience as a Dietitian, with peds or adult experience considered; valid state license.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a total of 40 hours per week.
Additional Information: Position involves working with patients with complex diagnoses such as GI complications, post-trauma, TPN patients, and some small infant populations transferred on tube feeds. Responsibilities include assessment, care plan development, documentation, interdisciplinary communication, and participation in rounds. May require floating as needed.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric nutrition, inpatient population, or community hospital experience.
