Job Details

• Position: Physical Therapist - Outpatient
• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Master's degree in Physical Therapy (or equivalent qualifying degree), current Florida Physical Therapy license, minimum of 3 years of outpatient orthopedic experience, knowledge of orthopedic surgeries and post-operative rehabilitation protocols
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings and strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Additional Information:
  • Performs initial therapy evaluations and re-evaluations using appropriate evaluation techniques.
  • Develops individualized care plans with measurable, objective goals.
  • Provides effective treatment to patients of different age groups and cultures.
  • Demonstrates competency with clinical procedures and equipment for common disorders.
  • Maintains timely, accurate documentation and reports patient information as needed.
  • Ensures a clean and organized therapeutic environment, manages supplies, and schedules patients efficiently.
  • Follows policies for scheduling, billing, and insurance authorization.
  • Meets continuing education requirements to maintain licensure and certifications.
  • Takes responsibility for the clinical environment and supports team education and collaboration.
