Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist (OT) Inpatient position in a healthcare facility. This role involves evaluating patient function, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing education to patients and their families. The position includes supervising Occupational Therapist Assistants, Home Health Aides, and students to ensure quality care delivery.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift; 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active Michigan/MI Occupational Therapist License, current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, 1 year of pertinent occupational therapy experience, and no minimum years of experience required for employment consideration.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior outpatient and acute care experience preferred.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include evaluating patients through formal and informal testing, developing goal-specific treatment regimes, coordinating treatment plans with physicians, educating patients and families regarding conditions and interventions, and providing supervision for clinical staff and students. Submission requires current skills checklist and two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years.
