Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) Location unspecified. The role involves providing outpatient hand therapy services for a diverse patient population, including pre-teens through geriatrics, in an acute care setting. The position requires a minimum of five (5) years of experience in hand therapy, with expertise in splint fabrication for post-operative cases, acute injuries, and chronic conditions, utilizing various assessment and treatment techniques.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: BLS certification; minimum of five (5) years of experience in outpatient hand therapy, including splint fabrication for post-operative cases, acute injuries, and chronic conditions; strong knowledge of orthopedic upper extremity diagnoses; experience treating a wide range of patient ages; proficiency with charting systems (Epic); valid state licensure; minimum of 2 years of experience preferred.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, from 10/26/2026 to 01/25/2027.
• Additional Information: Candidates should have expertise in assessments, discharge planning, dynamic and static splints, electrical stimulation, hand injury management, home exercise programs, nerve injury treatment, orthoplast, patient and family education, safety and injury prevention, and soft tissue injuries. Re-orientation is required only if travelers have been separated for 6 or more months since their last shift, and only if orientation was completed at a specific medical center.
