Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Outpatient (OT OP) position located in a healthcare setting. This role involves providing outpatient therapy services focused on hand and wrist patients, with a full caseload requiring hands-on experience. The position is suitable for clinicians with outpatient experience and a passion for patient-centered care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shifts, 8 hours per day, a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Degree in Occupational Therapy from an Accredited School; 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience; CPR Certification; active applicable license for the state where work will be performed; must have hand experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Responsible for evaluating and developing treatment plans for hand and wrist patients, ensuring care aligns with physician orders and insurance approvals. Completes accurate medical record documentation including goal setting, assessments, and progress notes. Participates in student programs and professional development activities. Adheres to organizational performance improvement initiatives and maintains licensure in good standing.
