Job Summary:
CT Technologist Bakersfield, California. This position involves operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues for diagnostic purposes. The role includes performing various imaging procedures such as general radiography and fluoroscopy, supporting accurate patient diagnosis, and ensuring high-quality image acquisition.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week, with scattered schedules throughout Monday through Sunday. Shifts typically run from 1900 to 0730, totaling at least 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Associates degree in Radiologic Technology; registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology (R.T.(R)); certification in Computed Tomography (CT); Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in the state of practice (CA); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; fluoroscopy license in CA if operating fluoroscopy equipment; venipuncture certification in CA if administering contrast materials.
• Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Certification in CT modality.
• Essential Functions: Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients ranging from adolescence through geriatric; produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images; maintains accurate records and ensures data security within HIPAA guidelines; performs routine maintenance and manages supply inventory; transfers images accurately using PACS and teleradiology systems; performs other related duties as assigned.
• Additional Information: The role involves maintaining the integrity of patient medical images and data, adhering to confidentiality and safety standards, and supporting the operational efficiency of the imaging department.
