Description

Job Summary:
Xray Technologist position available in the healthcare organization. This role involves performing general radiographic procedures in a busy hospital setting, including ortho, traumas, and portable imaging. The position supports inpatient, outpatient, ER, and OR patient types, with a focus on delivering quality imaging services in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 4 ten-hour shifts or 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, with variable weekend rotation every third week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), holds American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification, has a valid State license (KBMIRT), and a minimum of 1 year of experience performing general x-ray procedures.
  • Preferred Qualifications: O-arm experience and operating room (OR) experience are preferred; OR experience can be supplemented with emergency room (ER) procedures.
  • Support within the Department: Front desk staff available Monday through Friday from 0700 to 1900, lead tech present daily for first shift, staff coverage across second and third shifts, with support personnel including phlebotomists, IV/Volume Assurance Team, hospitalists, intensivists, and continuously available radiologic technologists.
  • Technology/Equipment: Experience with EMR systems (Cernero), and imaging equipment such as Shimadzu, Konica, Fuji, Carestream, GE, Phillips c-arms, Medtronic O-arm. Floating to ER, OR, and portable imaging throughout the hospital is expected.
  • Orientation: 3-4 shifts in department under clinical orientation program.
  • Other Notes: Scrub color is specified as Ciel Blue; parking provided via free badge access lot.
