The role requires performing a range of respiratory modalities, managing mechanical ventilators, and collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient care.

Job Details

• Position Description: Provides respiratory care and diagnostic testing for pediatric patients, including management of mechanical ventilators, assembly and maintenance of medical equipment, and patient assessments. Communicates and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to develop and modify care plans as needed. May supervise department staff and oversee departmental operations.
• Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Associate or technical degree; proof of passing the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); current license in the practicing state as required; Basic Life Support (BLS); no minimum years of experience required.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Position may be assigned across various areas within the healthcare system where respiratory care is needed, including pediatric units. The role emphasizes delivering quality service consistent with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
