Job Summary
Radiation Therapist (RTT) Location: unspecified. This position involves providing radiation therapy treatments for a diverse patient population using Varian equipment, including IMRT, IGRT, SRS, and SBRT. The role supports a 24/7 in-house radiation oncology team with a focus on precision care and patient safety.

Job Details

• Shift Schedule: 8-hour days with weekends and holidays as scheduled. The minimum weekly hours required are 40.
• Required Qualifications: ARRT registered Radiation Therapist certification, WV state license, BLS certification, minimum of 2 years of experience, and experience with Varian linear accelerators and related systems.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with IMRT, IGRT, SRS, SBRT, Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator, Varian ARIA Oncology Information System, and Siemens Somation go. flo open equipment.
• Responsibilities: Administer therapeutic radiation treatments, operate Varian Trilogy and TrueBeam linear accelerators, collaborate with radiation oncologists and medical staff, ensure patient safety, and maintain accurate charting in EPIC.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Department uses EPIC for charting and does not utilize RRAs. There is a department-specific orientation, and candidates must have a valid license to submit. No start IVs required, and there are no weekend, holiday, or call standby requirements.
