Radiation Therapist
Location
- Morgantown, West Virginia
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- Day shift
- 8 hours per day
- 40 hours per week
- Possible schedules: 5x8s or 4x10s
Required Qualifications
- BLS certification
- ARRT-registered Radiation Therapist
- West Virginia state license
- Experience with IMRT, IGRT, SRS, and SBRT
- Experience with Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator or Varian ARIA Oncology Information System
- Experience managing an average patient load of 25 patients per machine, 50 total, plus 6–9 CT sim patients per day

- Radiation oncology setting
- Adult and pediatric patient population
- No floating to other areas
- No IV starts required
- No RRA use
- Radiation oncologists on-site
- Lead tech or supervisor present

- No weekend requirement

- No call or standby requirement
- Department-specific orientation provided
Additional Notes
- Gray scrubs
- Must be submitted only once across the WVU system
- Driver’s license address must be more than 50 miles from the facility
- Previous permanent employees must have been gone for 2 years
- Previous travelers who worked there for 1 full year must have been gone for 2 years
- Up to 2 candidates may be submitted per opening
- Submission allowed up to 45 days out
