Job Summary
Radiation Therapist (RTT) Location: Unknown. This full-time position involves performing radiation therapy and radiographic procedures on patients with oncology and osteoarthritis conditions. The role requires operating specialized X-ray equipment and ensuring accurate treatment records in accordance with prescribed treatment plans.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Associate Degree, MRT License in the state of employment, RRT License in the state of employment, BLS from American Heart Association, RADTH (Radiation Therapist) ARRT certification. Experience requirement: 1 year.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include providing quality patient care aligned with diagnosis and treatment plans, administering prescribed radiation therapy, maintaining treatment records, and managing supplies and equipment.
- Clinical procedures involve treating cancer and osteoarthritis patients using SBRT (Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy), IMRT (Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy), basic radiation therapy, and breath-hold treatments.
- Candidates should be capable of operating Trilogy and/or Trubeam radiation machines.
