Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (Inpatient) This position is located within a healthcare organization serving adult and geriatric patient populations. The Occupational Therapist will develop and implement therapy programs for patients requiring inpatient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize recovery outcomes.

  • Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid California State License, BLS certification, NBCOT certification, experience with adult and geriatric rehabilitation, proficiency in assessment, evaluation, discharge planning, and patient/family education. Experience with acute care, adaptive equipment, and prosthetics is preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge experience, community hospital experience, travel experience, experience with trauma, neuro, and ortho patient populations.
  • Additional Information: The Occupational Therapist will plan and execute therapy interventions for patients with conditions such as CVA, trauma, neuro disorders, amputations, arthritis, and other neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. Responsibilities include patient assessment, development of plans of care, implementing therapy interventions, patient and family education, and discharge planning. The role may require float rotation.
