Job Summary:
The healthcare organization is seeking a CT Technologist in the outpatient setting. This role involves performing routine musculoskeletal, body, and computed tomography angiography (CTA) studies, including head, neck, pulmonary embolism, and some lower extremity scans. The position requires a credentialed professional capable of managing approximately 15-20 studies per day, with a focus on proficiency in IV placement and adherence to safety standards.

Job Details:

• Shift: Sunday-Tuesday, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, with a 12-hour shift schedule and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT), BLS certification, Certified CT Technologist verified, Certified Radiologic Technologist verified, and a minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Credentialing for additional imaging modalities such as MRI or XR may be beneficial.
• Additional Responsibilities and Information:
  • Operate a single imaging room equipped with GE scanners.
  • Use of InteleBrowser for PACS imaging system.
  • Potential to float to XR or MRI departments if credentialed.
  • Will be responsible for IV placement, with experience necessary.
  • The department functions with in-house radiology coverage Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and requires weekend and holiday shifts.
  • Scrubs are provided in black, and orientation lasts between 2-5 days.
  • No trauma level designation; outpatient care setting.
  • Shifts are scheduled from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with an emphasis on safety and patient care.
