Job Summary
The organization is seeking a CT Technologist to join their radiology department at the Boise main campus. This role involves performing advanced Computed Tomography (CT) scans across various body parts, including pediatrics and cardiac imaging, with procedures such as biopsies, drains, and ablations. The position requires a dedicated professional skilled in Siemens imaging equipment and patient care.

Job Details

  • Position: CT Technologist Specialty: CT
  • Location: Boise main campus
  • Certifications: ARRT Certified in Computed Tomography (CT), BLS Certified
  • Experience: At least 1 year of related experience; prior travel experience preferred but not required
  • Equipment: Siemens Drive, Siemens Force, Cannon Prime SP; experience with Siemens preferred; Cannon experience not required
  • Procedures: CT scans of all body parts, pediatric, cardiac scans, biopsies, drains, ablations
  • Clinical Skills: Good patient care, procedural skills, experience with EPIC and McKesson EMR/PACS systems preferred but not required
  • Work Schedule: Nights, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week; shifts vary between 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM; weekend and holiday requirements as scheduled
  • Additional Requirements: Inserting IVs, working at the Boise main campus, always with a lead technician or supervisor during shifts; no need to cover other areas or float
  • Charting: EPIC system used for documentation
  • Department Info: Department always has a lead technician and supervisor present; no registered radiology assistants; in-house radiologist available
  • Dress Code: Scrubs provided in blue; dress code policies apply
  • Cancellation Policy: Typically, four shifts per 13-week contract period
