Job Summary:
Inpatient Pharmacist Pharmacist Inpatient specialty Location not specified. This position involves providing pharmacy services within an inpatient acute care setting, supporting various departments including ER, ICU, oncology, and infusion centers. The role requires competent inpatient knowledge, supervision of pharmacy technicians, and adherence to a rotating schedule that includes weekends and on-call hours.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Experience: Michigan pharmacist/controlled substance license minimum of 2 years of experience required.
• Schedule: 7 am to 5 pm, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, with rotating weekends every third week and one week of call every three weeks. Call hours are from 5 pm to 6 am Monday through Friday and from 5 pm to 7 am on Saturday and Sunday.
• Additional responsibilities include supervising pharmacy technicians, compounding, order entry, medication verification, and operational support for inpatient pharmacy functions.
• Must be capable of completing 1 to 2 weeks of training as required.
• Must have updated BLS (AHA) certification.
• Must be able to work within the Pyxis Automated Dispensing Cabinet system and utilize the Allscripts charting system.
• Dress code is casual or scrubs; scrubs provided.
• The position begins on 09/14/2026 and ends on 12/14/2026.
• The role involves working in an inpatient acute care environment supporting a variety of clinical departments, including ER, ICU, oncology, and infusion areas.
