Job Summary
Los Angeles area. The organization is seeking a CT Technologist to operate computed tomography (CT) equipment and produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues to assist in diagnosis. The position involves performing a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy, to support patient care across diverse clinical scenarios.
Job Details
- Position: CT Technologist Specialty: CT
- Location: Los Angeles area
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Associates degree in Radiologic Technology; Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT)); Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification in the state of practice; Advanced certification in CT; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment; Venipuncture certification in CA
- Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Certification in the modality of CT
- Additional Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images; utilize PACS and teleradiology systems; maintain accurate records; ensure image integrity and patient confidentiality; perform routine maintenance and manage supply inventory; perform other related duties as assigned
