Job Summary
CT Technologist, Columbia MD This role involves performing professional duties related to obtaining proper computer tomography images under the supervision of radiologists and the CT Manager. The technologist provides care activities in the presence of patients and may assist with invasive biopsy procedures as needed.
Job Details
- Position Description:
Performs professional duties involved in obtaining proper computer tomography images. Work occasionally requires internal contacts outside the work group to exchange work-related information, with contact involving providing or obtaining factual information. Requires normal courtesy and tact in dealings. - Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program with advanced certification in CT, current radiologic technologist licensure in the State of Maryland, current registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), current CPR certification. - Schedule:
Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. - Additional Information:
The role requires providing care activities involving patients, with occasional invasive biopsy procedures, and interacting with internal contacts outside the work group.
