Job Summary
Pharmacist Inpatient Pediatric Hospital Night Shift (Location: Childrens Hospital / Level II Pediatric Trauma Center)
This position entails providing pharmaceutical services within a pediatric hospital setting, supporting neonatal, adolescent, and pediatric patient care. The role involves working a 7-day on, 7-day off night rotation, with a transition to day shifts later in the year, supporting inpatient medication management in a busy pediatric environment.

Job Details

  • Required Qualifications: TX Licensed Pharmacist, BLS certification, 1 year of hospital experience, at least some exposure to pediatrics.
  • Schedule: Night shift from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM, 40 hours per week.
  • Responsibilities: Dispensing medications, clinical dosing, IV push medications, compounding, and ensuring medication safety in a pediatric inpatient setting.
  • Candidates must have hospital experience and exposure to pediatric pharmacy.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Additional pediatric pharmacy experience is a plus.
  • Additional Information: Position involves working in a Children's Hospital with a total of 181 beds, supporting neonatal, pediatric, and adolescent patients. The role may require occasional float between units, but no on-call or weekend coverage beyond every other weekend.
