Job Summary
A CT Technologist position is available in a Level I trauma center within an acute care hospital setting. Based in an organization providing high-level trauma and emergency care, this role involves performing advanced computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures for adult patients. The position requires critical attention to image quality and patient safety, supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Job Details

  • Location: Not specified; acceptance of local candidates.
  • Schedule: Nights shift / 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: ARRT certification, ARRT-CT certification, BLS certification, valid State license, at least 2 years of CT imaging experience, and active IL state license or in application process with ETA.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult acute care, ICU, emergency department, Level I trauma, and familiarity with charting system Cerner.
  • Responsibilities: Perform Abdomen without and/or with contrast, Pelvis without and/or with contrast, Chest without and/or with contrast, vascular chest imaging, carotid, head, sinuses, soft tissue neck, trauma head, 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, ROI measurement, and coronary CTA. Operate imaging equipment, ensure radiation safety, prepare/administration of contrast media, and adhere to isolation precautions.
  • Additional Information: Experience with adult outpatient settings, trauma imaging, and specific image post-processing skills is preferred. Candidates must be able to float within scope if needed, but this role does not require clinician float.
