This MRI Technologist position involves operating imaging equipment to provide high-quality diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) studies. The role includes patient safety and communication, training new technologists, and troubleshooting equipment to ensure efficient patient care in a busy, high-volume environment.

Job Details

Position: MRI Technologist
Specialty: MRI
Location: Orlando, FL
Schedule: Rotating shifts, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED; Associates Degree or equivalent experience preferred; AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; ARRT (MR) or ARMIT certification; Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience in high-volume environments preferred; Valid state drivers license if applicable.
Responsibilities include operating MRI equipment, performing advanced MR studies independently, explaining procedures to patients, pre-screening for contraindications, and managing patient interactions.
Additional Information: Experience with GE Signa 1.5 Gold Seal MRI; proficiency in managing equipment including monitors, coils, PACS, and troubleshooting scanner issues; local travel may be required.
