Job Summary
The organization is seeking a CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist in a high-volume acute care hospital. This role involves performing advanced CT imaging procedures in a busy emergency department and outpatient settings, supporting a high volume primary stroke receiving center. The position offers flexibility with self-scheduling based on seniority and requires availability across all shift times.

Job Details

• Location: The position is based in an acute care hospital with 212 staffed beds, serving adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
• Certifications & Education: BLS, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in CT and ARRT Advanced, CA CRT.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of CT technologist experience required, with at least 2 years of experience preferred.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Must be open to all shift times, including start times at 0600 and 0800, with flexibility to accommodate unit needs.
• Responsibilities: Performing contrast-enhanced and non-contrast scans of the abdomen, head, neck, chest, pelvis, thoracic, and vascular regions; operating imaging equipment such as Toshiba Aquilion and GE Lightspeed; assisting with emergent procedures; ensuring radiation safety and patient care standards.
• Additional Requirements: Must include RTO requests at the time of submission; candidates should not contact facility directly unless scheduled; references covering 1 year are required; must have a valid state license, preferably with a compact license in hand at submission.
• Float: Float rotation may be required in support of department needs.
• Submission: Response to specific screening questions regarding prior experience at Providence facilities is required with submission.
