Job Summary
Interventional Radiology Technician, INTRA CL for a healthcare organization in need of a skilled professional to support neuro interventional radiology procedures. This role involves operating specialized imaging equipment, assisting physicians with invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures, and providing high-quality patient care within a multidisciplinary team. The position offers a rotating schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week, with on-call responsibilities.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Maryland Radiology License; ARRT (CV) or (VI); Current BLS via AHA and ACLS; preferably at least one year of experience in radiologic or interventional procedures or completion of an advanced imaging program.
- Schedule: Rotating four 10-hour shifts, 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, with on-call 8-9 times per month.
- Position Summary: Assist physicians in performing invasive procedures, coordinate patient care in assigned procedure rooms, and work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary health care team.
- Competencies: Completion of an AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent; advanced knowledge of anatomy and physiology specific to Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology; proficiency in operating radiographic and ancillary equipment across multiple modalities; effective communication skills for team collaboration.
- Additional Information: Previous employment experience with any Johns Hopkins facilities must be noted in the work history to verify rehire status. Candidates must have a minimum of 0 years of experience.
